Taste of Provence Tour

Posted by Amanda Taylor-Ace June 27, 2014 in Events

What a fantastic group of 10 ladies from New Zealand who embraced everything we had to offer and then some. We couldn’t have wished for better weather or company to Tour around the wonderful places of interest. The ladies not only lapped up all the food and wine presented by our fabulous chefs but also were totally enthusiastic about all the places they visited  giving us, their hosts, such pleasure.

Wonderful entertainment by our Gypsey boys, Compas O’le, Michel Elliard the very talented guitarist who also plays for all our Tours and not forgetting our very own ‘in-house accordianist’ Maurice, who played beautiful renditions of French Classics for our ladies in the evenings. Maurice’s wife Franscoise cooked her very delicious French delicacies; Luce and sister Marcelle also brought their very own French flavour to La Table de La Maison de Maitresse, together with Judy’s delicious fusion of French & Mediterranian cuisine.

We were very privileged to have Sarah La Touche (reknown N.Z. Chef) to come and do a guest appearance and demonstration in the kitchen of Maison de Maitresse.

We visited Mas Bel Vue and Joanne had all the ladies busy interactively helping prepare a delicious dinner in her absolutely fabulous kitchen, her husband Gary, although jet-lagged, entertained the ladies in style.
